    Hi,

    I’d like to volunteer, but before I go any further with this, I’d like to know what disease this is for and how the cells are going to be used; if thats not asking for too confidential an information that is. Also, I’m of Indian origin. Hoping that won’t be a hindrance.

    The disease is mitochondrial disease, which is something that is passed on via mothers, hence the need to use a donor egg that is free of the disease, but has had its nuclear material removed. Race doesn’t matter. As for volunteering, you will need to wait for regulatory approval, if it occurs, and then most likely a considerable amount of research before human clinical trials are approved. I will reply to you offline with more detail.
